Answer to prayer?

Well, I went to a friend's last night to hang out and this morning her mom offered to pay me to housesit for them next weekend. I have no idea how much, but this is an answer to prayer! I can put this amount away and just try to find more work to add to it; who knows - maybe I will be able to earn the whole amount I need to go to Montana and won't have to borrow from anyone after all! That would be so nice; I hate debt.

We found a house, too! It's in a nice neighborhood in Eugene, only a few blocks from one of the branch libraries (the kids are thrilled!). I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds really nice. Kelli and Jessica will be able to have their own rooms, so that's good. I'll be staying in Kelli's room until she gets out here, and then I'll just use the couch until my moving day a week later. The house has a huge yard, fenced all the way around with a nice privacy fence, and it has a lot of external storage, as well as a chain link enclosure that Rosie will be able to use for her rabbits. Our rental application has been approved and now we are just waiting for the other paperwork to clear and the house to be inspected, then we can move in! From what I can gather it looks like it might be toward the end of August, but that's fine; we need some more time to get ready to move anyway and me especially since I won't be unpacking at the new house. I'll only have my clothes and a few other necessaries since I'll be leaving so soon afterwards. So my things have to be completely ready for an inter-state move! Ugh. :|

I'm sorry there aren't many recent pictures on here, for those of you who appreciate that more than journaling. I have several one-use cameras waiting to be developed, but I will have to wait until I'm out in Montana and working before that will happen. Mom has some more recent pictures to develop too and she's going to make me copies eventually. Fear not! I will give you pictures eventually! :)

Please continue to pray for my family as they move to this new city and get settled in. The kids are used to small town living and it's going to take them a little while to get used to the restrictions necessary to city life. Please pray that the kids will respect our parents’ judgment and will adjust quickly and painlessly to their new life.

Please pray also for me as I seek to follow God’s lead in this time of transition. Pray that He will give me the wisdom to discern His hand at work, and to be patient.

Thank you, and God bless! :)
