Ramblings of a Frazzled Housewife
By Alena Belleque

Well, everyone, I've finally done it! I have finally created a blog that I am happy with, and after almost a month of testing, I believe I've finally worked out all the bugs. Come see!

I will leave this current blog online until June 1st, 2008. After that I will be deleting this and all other blogs and "spaces" and will deal exclusively with Ramblings of a Frazzled Housewife and my MySpace page.

I will be adding new features to my blog on a fairly regular basis for the next few months. Here are some of the new features you can look for...

Picture This ~ Photo albums on topics ranging from Our Wedding to Family & Friends

In All Things, Prayer ~ An online prayer request blog - email me with submissions!

Scribbles by Alena ~
Our family update blog! (By invitation only, so email me to be added.)

Nibbly Bits ~ Recipe and entertaining blog

Diary of a Dreamer ~ Personal reflections on life with PCOS (by invitation only).

A Time to Weep ~ An interactive space designed to support survivors of domestic violence, and their families.

More to come!

Thank you for bearing with me for the last year as I have sought to create an interactive space where I can keep you - my friends and family - up to date and entertained! I hope you will really enjoy the new blog and features...

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
Suggestions for new features welcome!

The Author ~ Alena Belleque

I am a young woman in love with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and with her husband, Nicholas. I love to write, and my dearest wish is that God will use my words to help another soul. I have been blessed in life, though some might not see it that way. Everything that the world and Satan have brought against me, God has used to bring glory to His name! He has never let me down, and I hope that my story will bring hope to the hearts of others.

The Significanse of Being Here

Does anyone read my blog? I think Steph, you do, but anyone else? I'm just curious. I just realized that I currently am posting the same blog at...1, 2, 3... 3 different personal pages. That's annoying and time consuming, and I'm trying to decide where to camp out with my blog, because I'm sick of posting all over the place!

SO! Here it is - if you read my blog, read my bulletins, or look at my page at least once a month, please respond to this bulliten, or send me a message on my page. I'm going to wait one month, and then I'm going to make a decision regarding where I will be posting. If it's not here, I'll post a link to wherever by blog ends up, so if any of you still want to keep up with my life, you can.

Thanks!

SORRY!!!! :(

I know, I know... "Where's the update??" I mean, I moved back to Montana almost a year ago, started dating, got engaged, got MARRIED, changed jobs four times, and all I can do for you, my internet reader, is tell you I'm getting married and then run away for months at a time! Oh dear!

In a nutshell, that was my update. See ya!

NO! That was a joke! ;)

I got married on March 25th, 2007 (a Sunday) to Nick Belleque. We have been married about a month and a half now, and are loving it! We found a nice, little two-bedroom apartment in Corvallis, Montana, and we are both working on getting settled into new jobs. Nick's a delivery driver for Pizza Hut, and I start my new job as a salesperson tomorrow morning. I work for Flooring America.

We added two new friends to our family day before yesterday; Kitty and Mordac, Lord of Unholy Fury (Mo) are hampsters. I needed something fuzzy to play with and as we can't have a dog here, these little guys are our substitute pets.

We are still looking for a new church home. Neither Nick or I enjoy church-hunting in the least, and every other Sunday or so we end up at our old church, Emmanuel, in Missoula for one reason or another! We would rather just keep going to Emmanuel, but it's far enough away that we'd never be able to be involved in anything except Sunday morning service. We want to be an active part of our church family, so that just won't work.

I'll try to update more often - the last few months have been SO frantic and full that I have had a hard time keeping up here. And now that I'm married, while almost all of my previous stressers are gone, I have new ones to keep me busy! I promise to at least post every other week, but I'll try for weekly. And I'm still camera-less (of course, there IS another reception coming up next month *hint*hint*), so it's hard to keep you updated with pictures. I do have all (I think) my wedding pictures now though, so once I get a chance to look through them all I will post at least a few here...

Update: Wedding Date...

Howdy! Boy, has it EVER been a long time since I've updated - is anyone even reading me anymore?? I hope so! :)

Okay, so things have really changed around here...

Nick and I are getting married on Sunday, March 25th, 2007 in Ore Town, Oregon! Yeah!!! :)

I am currently looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment to start renting, hopefully next month, that Nick and I will be able to live in after we get married (I'll move in first). As of tomorrow morning, I'll be staying with my aunt again (until I find an apartment), just so you know. That means I'll have to leave for work almost a full hour before I start work! EEK!!! :( But on the plus side, it's a roof over my head and with some of my favorite people. ;)

Oh, and I have a CELL PHONE now!!! Yippy!!! :) Feel free to email me or call Nick (whichever option you know) and I'll get you that number. ;)

Gotta go...
